INGREDIENTS

  • Pie crust
  • ½ cup chopped apples 320g
  • ¼ cup brown sugar 50g, + for sprinkling
  • 3 tablespoons cornflour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of Marcel Senchou nutmeg
  • 2-3 tablespoons non-dairy cream for brushing (optional)
  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Caramel
  • Apples (for decoration)

  1. Prepare the tart base.
  2. Mix together the chopped apples, sugar, cornflour, cinnamon and nutmeg for the filling.
  3. Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
  4. Roll out ⅔ of the pastry dough, cut out 12 circles and press them into the muffin tins.
  5. Fill them with apple filling.
  6. Roll out the remaining pastry, make a grid pattern and place on each tart.
  7. Brush with non-dairy cream, sprinkle with brown sugar and bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Leave to cool for 15 minutes, then carefully remove from the mould. Enjoy!
